Folks hanging out and hitting people up for money has been a feature of this Chevron for as long as I can remember.

Next to Ned Ludd and behind Horn of Africa, you can find Ben Farver’s Argonaut Custom Cycle shop.

Ben opened this shop about a year ago, and has already been picking up awards for his bike designs and construction.

Great photos are on Argonaut’s blogs: one that Ben keeps current, and an older, dormant blog, both with really great photos (in the older blog, you can see outdoor photos with glimpses of nearby storefronts on MLK Boulevard).

Breakfast/lunch at Bridges, on the corner of Knott & MLK: the food here is completely nummers.
