‘Why do you hate my vagina?’ – Photos from Friday’s Planned Parenthood Rally in Northeast Portland

MLK Boulevard is visited on occasional Fridays by anti-abortion protesters, who picket outside the Planned Parenthood facility that opened last year. This past Friday, supporters of  Planned P’hood gathered in front of the building, though not in as large a crowd as during Wednesday’s rally.

 

 

Not a single abortion opponent was seen, or heard, though one gentleman in a white pickup truck shouted, “GET A LIFE AND GET A JOB!” as he cruised by.

 

 

 

The police turned up to warn rallyers to avoid clogging the street.

Rally to support Planned Parenthood this afternoon – February 21 – 3727 NE MLK, at the Planned Parenthood facility.

On Friday, the House of Representatives voted to defund Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood provides millions of women with birth control, cancer screenings, HIV testing, and other lifesaving services.

Rally with fellow supporters of PP at the Columbia-Willamette Planned Parenthood Headquarters, 3727 NE MLK, from 5 to 6 pm today, Monday February 21st.
